I originally made it to host images for ao3 because discord kept dropping them down the Bottomless Pit.

I did put way too much effort into it, though. I have the images and! sneak peeks of my work-in-progress fics and original stuff, plus background music! if you allow neocities to autoplay audio, you can hear some songs I made for a discord server mini campaign that (unfortunately) fell apart a few years ago. It heavily involved the astral sea, and as soon as that was revealed I went into the DM's... uh, dms, and said HEY. YOU LIKE PLAYING AMBIANCE MUSIC. CAN I MAKE YOU AMBIANCE MUSIC FOR THE ASTRAL SEA and she went "uh?? sure???" it's made via assembling garageband loops, but I think it sounds good, so. Really, the important takeaway here is that All My Music Is Wet. my whole website is wet. :)
(fair warning, the audio balancing is also a WIP, so they might be too quiet or too loud. sorry!!)

I've got what we in the business call a Band-Aid Solution vis-a-vis the fics looking alright, (static background, no music, most of them have a slightly warmer background instead of a Melt Your Eyes Out Your Head white) but I'm still waiting on neotome's downloadable code to publish so y'all can toggle sans/serif and light/dark modes instead of being wholly dependent on my aesthetic choices.

folks? friends. My Fellow Queers, even. uh, I'm having a Really Sucks Time atm, for just kinda like a boatload of personal reasons, but primarily: I'm usamerican and dependent on government assistance. also, my phone's broken AND I keep getting spam calls like 24/7 which is really cool. it's why I've been polishing old wips instead of, like. actually writing anything. that and personally, still feeling shitty about the pizza tower merch funding thing. anyway.

if anyone knows how to recover my old header formatting, or what the fuck is up with the letter misalignments, or how to re-align my secondary blinkie on the right side of my page: you can tell me now! I finally have a guestbook!! this one is one a separate site and— like I'm still tweaking it, but I've probably spent a zillion fucking years on the site settings and alt text and tooltips and stuff, and yk what? could be worse! click on either of the black computer blinkies and it'll take you to the guestbook. so far, nobody's commented, but also it's not like I really get a lot of site traffic so. /shrug.

I am still trying to recover all of my old fics, for the sake of a personal archive if nothing else, and the arcade AU is up!! the chapters are in! the website's files! they're right there in the folder with the gifs and background music! I cannot fucking link to them in a way that works, but they are somewhere! probably wherever my original header image settings are! I Am Drowning In Sub Folders, For The Love Of God, Montresor.
